Happy client
Your first scuba certification
This is the course for people who have never dived before. You don't need to be a strong swimmer, just comfortable in the water. Once certified, you can dive with a buddy down to 18 metres, rent gear and join fun dives anywhere in the world.
Three parts, at your own pace
eLearning – Study the theory online on your phone or laptop, whenever suits you.
Pool sessions – Practise the core skills in a swimming pool in Klang Valley with your instructor: breathing underwater, clearing your mask, controlling your buoyancy, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Open water dives – Four dives in the ocean, where you repeat your skills and go for your first real dives. These happen on a separate trip to an island, booked and priced on its own.

Frequently asked questions
I'm not a strong swimmer. Can I still do this?
Yes. The water skills test is about comfort, not speed. You can use any stroke and there's no time limit. If you're nervous, tell us and your instructor will take it step by step in the pool.
Why is the open water trip separate?
So you can do the pool training in Klang Valley at your own pace, then pick the trip date that suits you.
What if my ears hurt when I go underwater?
That's common and usually just needs equalising – gently balancing the pressure in your ears. Your instructor will teach you how in the shallow end before you go any deeper.
How long does the certification last?
Your PADI Open Water Diver certification doesn't expire. If you go a long time without diving, we recommend a short refresher before your next dive.
I wear glasses. What do I do?
Contact lenses (soft) work fine under a mask. You can also get a prescription mask. Let us know when you book.
What do I need to bring?
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. All the scuba gear is provided.
